A thorough review and edit for accuracy and correctness. I will check all the mechanics of writing such as grammar, syntax, spelling, and punctuation to ensure that your content is polished and error-free.
MEDIUM EDITING
When a more comprehensive review is needed, I will go beyond the baseline review; for example, enforcing style and tone throughout a body of work, and checking for consistency in character traits and storylines.
HEAVY/SUBSTANTIVE EDITING
Expert guidance beyond medium editing to eliminate wordiness, make transitions smoother and sentences easier to read, and suggest additions and/or deletions at the sentence and paragraph levels.
How I work
Regardless the level of review and editing your project requires, I will work with you to polish your writing and make it your very best, while retaining the intent of your piece and your personal style. I will adhere to the appropriate style guide for the project, be that the Associated Press (AP), Chicago Manual of Style, an industry-specific guide, or a client-specific guide.

I typically use Microsoft Word, utilizing the "track changes" feature so that you can easily review all recommended changes. If you'd prefer to use Google Docs, I'd be happy to edit on that platform instead.
